Description
The workshop aims to promote discussion by sharing recent research on the major topics related to audit quality. The target audience: academics, PhD students, regulators and practitioners in the area of auditing and governance.
General track – Call for papers
The workshop aims to promote discussion among academics by sharing recent research on the major topics related to audit quality.
We invite papers that address (but are not limited to) the following topics:
– the role of regulation in improving audit quality
– corporate governance systems and their impact on audit quality
– audit quality and ethical standards
– auditor characteristics (independence, reputation, industry specialization) and audit quality
– auditor personal and professional skills as key drivers of audit quality
– audit market structure and audit quality
– new technologies and audit quality
– audit/accounting education and audit quality
– sustainability and audit quality
– measurement of audit quality
– audit behaviour (professional scepticism, incentives) and audit quality
– audit quality and capital market efficiency
To be eligible for presentation, manuscripts written in English must be submitted through the Workshop website. Only full papers will be considered in the selection. A discussant will be appointed to each presentation.

Young Scholar Track (YST)
The target audience of the young scholar track are PhD students in their last year, post-doctoral researchers or early career researchers. If you in are one of these categories please submit via the link below and write YST before the title of your paper in the online form, title field (YST – Title of paper).
Full papers or extended abstracts with preliminary results (no limit on number of pages) can be submitted for this track.
